Possibly the best fried shrimp I've ever had. You can taste the difference that these are wild Gulf shrimp; they are tender and juicy. Literally no one in Chicago is better and I've been to A LOT. And, I don't think anyone is cheaper! Also this place is clean! Doesn't smell like oil, doesn't smell like seafood; you can trust what you're getting is clean.

Shrimp taste great with sauces. Also the mushrooms a little salty but manageable. everything is fresh and very fast service. Within 5 minutes my order was ready .
OMG, I love this spot. Always freshly cooked, great texture. The best part about this restaurant is the price, it's so affordable with good portions of whatever you like. From a meal to a pound or even a half pound. Also have nice selections of sauce too choice from. Friendly service and clean atmosphere, just not a sit-down location. I tried a pound of jumbo shrimp and hush puppies. First they were fast, second i love how they are split because that means they are cut and cleaned right and second the hush puppies were the perfect size I couldn't stop eating them. 1st time going and the service was great and the food was awesome. It has been a community staple for quite some time I don't know why I took so long to go there. Will definitely try their other delicious food.
Restaurant is small but clean. It's not a place where you can eat in. Shrimps are soooo huge and tasty. Loved it. On street parking. I had one order that fed 2 people. They do sell pop/soda
